Heathrow Underground Tube

London Heathrow Airport has not been given any privilege to be connected to the national rail network & if you wish to get connected to the national rail network, you would need to make use of coach services from London airport.

Heathrow is connected to central London with respect to the Piccadilly line. On 16th December 1977, this line was first opened with terminal 4 which was connected to the line on 12th April 1986 and terminal 5 which was officially opened in the year 2008. This underground tube stops below the various terminals 1, 2, 3 and also at terminal 4. Another additional stop inside the airport is also available but it is not connected to any of the terminals at Hatton Cross. It is very convenient for passengers to reach Heathrow from Jurys Heathrow Hotel. Passengers need to walk very little from the hotel in order to reach the airport.

Hatton Cross is located on the Southern side of the road on the side of terminal 4 of Heathrow airport. It is easier to connect to the tube with the help of any of the various terminals at Heathrow. There are different signs posted on all the terminals and there is a following symbol mentioned on each sign. Many of the Heathrow hotels are situated within the walking distance to the tube station which makes the Jurys feel very convenient and confident to reach the London Airport.

The underground tube is another different facility to the Heathrow express & Connect services into the Paddington. Therefore, it is not advisable to use its entrance keeping in mind that it may connect you with the tube network. Terminals 1 and terminal 2 will make you reach underground entrance before the Express and connect entrance. You will find an internet cafe, few telephone booths and a currency exchange as well along with some of the ticket purchase & info services.

The last tube train can be taken at 23.40 to reach Cockfosters via central London whereas the last train to Hammersmith leaves at 00.04 and 00.22 for Actor town. This schedule is followed from Monday to Saturday except Sunday.

The last train leaves the platform at 11.30pm to Cockfosters via Central London and at 11.55pm for Northfields. After this specific time, you can take the N9 night bus service as well which will make you reach central London and onto Alwych from the Central Bus station stand number 30. This night bus service, N9 runs after every 30 minutes and if you wish to opt for taxi service, it is recommended to check outside terminal 2.

One can purchase tickets and before boarding for a single journey, a return or an extended period. The underground tube system is still one and the best part of the London transport network which works in complete harmony with other systems.
